multi-purpose building, decent price, private pool area
Unfortunately, clarity about the setup is lacking!!! It's confusing to figure out the charity aspect, and the mechanics garage on-site was an annoyance especially in the morning. The bathrooms were quite dated and needed more care!!! The local tax payment process was also a bit off-putting!!!

A charming stay with lovely gardens
The staff's warmth and friendliness stood out. The lovely garden and pool provided a serene spot for relaxation after beach days.
The non-renovated bathroom could use cleaning attention. I found a small towel that was never replaced , a bit odd and disappointing.

Had a nice stay! The terrace room was lovely with comfy beds, super quiet, and perfect. Debora at the front desk was a gem, always smiling and even surprised me with some vanilla yogurt! Just wish breakfast had a bit more variety.

The staff were wicked nice, especially Sara-she welcomed us so warmly! The room was comfy and had this awesome terrace overlooking the garden. The pool looked great, too, but we didn't get to use it since the weather turned. Breakfast was solid, had everything I needed to start my day right!

good stay but not perfect
The location is fantastic! It's less than a 10-minute walk to the beach. The outdoor space is a highlight, with a beautiful garden and pool area that's well-maintained. Breakfast included a wide selection, especially the fresh bread and pastéis de nata custard tarts. I also enjoyed chatting with fellow travelers on the shared balcony.
The room could use better soundproofing.

The staff were super friendly, and we loved the common room kitchen. The location is convenient, and the nearby Portuguese restaurant is awesome for authentic food.
The breakfast options were pretty limited, so we sometimes had to make do with just bread.

The terrace room was spacious and quiet. Breakfast featured a good selection of fresh pastries and homemade pasta, fueling my adventures. The shower had weak pressure, a bit inconvenient, and the room could benefit from better soundproofing. It would be nice to have a bit more seating near the pool area to fully enjoy the beautiful gardens.

The location is excellent, just a short walk from the beach and local amenities. The pool area felt private, often with only a few guests around. Breakfast was satisfying, with delicious scones and a variety of options. Although the room felt somewhat basic, it was comfortable and well-maintained. A few minor issues arose, such as a slow shower drain and a lack of soundproofing, which could be improved. Still, the atmosphere was relaxing was nice.
